I couldn’t wait to meet Beth, we’d been emailing for a month or so before the shoot and she had some wild ideas for her photos… and then she forgot half of the things she was going to bring!! But between splatter toes and tie dye we had lots of fun!

Peace!

Such a sweetie! We had fun indoors… while it poured outside!
I loved her van Gogh Starry Night tee…

And her cutie pie little bro jumped in for a few too!

This shoot was a riot… mainly due to the fact that Anna’s boyfriend came along and had something goofy to say about everything! What a pair!

Now just Anna…

KRISTIN + AARON = HAPPILY MARRIED
I had been looking forward to this wedding since last fall when I left their engagement session… these two are a blast!! I knew their wedding would be perfect – and it was! Seriously, I think they should look into couple modeling!

Kristin’s bridesmaids were the best – there was SO MUCH LOVE and craziness.

Aah-hummmamazing….

An incredible group of ladies!

A wedding party from heaven…

Shooting directly into the sun = crazy cool rainbow surrounding Kristin!

You gotta love when the wind does stuff like this -

To top the evening off they had a band rockin out for the dance – plus a table of shakers to be picked up and played by all!

So if you guys ever want to just hang out and get your pictures taken… we’re in!
Thanks again!!

So we’re changing gears from Senior pics for just a moment here to announce some super sweet news…
We were invited to a picnic awhile ago… this wasn’t just any picnic though. It was a party for families who either have or are in the process of adopting a child or children from Ethiopia. We were able to take pictures but we were also there because we are a family in the process of adopting our very own child from Ethiopia!!!! Yeah, that’s right!! SO SO SO stinkin excited and a tiny bit nervous… We are in the “waiting” period right now, so we wait and wait and wait. But hopefully this winter there will be a new member in the Johnson family. Adoption is something we have had in our hearts since we met and though a wild series of events we now know it’s time.
Getting to see so many families (right here in the Duluth area) who have finished the journey of adoption and to meet their beautiful kiddos was amazing! It gave us a little extra excitement and feeling that this is actually going to happen… all that paper work will come to an end!
Just check these faces out!

Seriously, aren’t these children beautiful? We are bursting with excitement and can’t wait to go meet our child!
If you’re just curious or this kind of stuff pumps you up and you want to know all about the agency we are using then click here. If you want to support us personally (because holy smokes this is crazy expensive) or one of the amazing projects Christian World Adoption is funding click here. If you want to know all about about our personal adoption story… click here.
One last photo from the picnic… Al getting all patriotic with the Ethiopian flag.
