Our photo plans for the day were totally turned upside down due to the rain… but sometimes foiled plans are just the thing to make the creative juices flow… We explored a bit and Al found this train tunnel near by…

The ceremony was at the Mercy Vineyard.

Then off to the Weisman Art Museum for the reception.

Nena wins the cool mom award for having me come out to their house for a totally low key, down to earth, a day in the life of… type shoot. I loved it and could have hung out with them all day! They have a family rhythm and way of communicating that made my heart happy.  HOPEFULLY I didn’t take any “awkward family photos”….
